There are very few things that look more timeless than classic black iron patio furniture. When One Kings Lane designed The Frances sofa and the rest of the collection, they hit it out of the park. I have pined for this collection for many years, and I was so delighted to come across this Frances Sofa dupe. Trust me, you’ll want to read on!
What is The Frances Sofa Collection?
The Frances Collection was inspired by the elegance found in the French time era known as Belle Époque aka “beautiful age”. The matte black frame finished off with gold finials is truly timeless. This collection was designed and is exclusive to One Kings Lane and in the past, I have been very pleased with my orders from there. (our upstairs wall sconces came from there)
So, What is the Dupe?
When I was perusing through the new Studio McGee merchandise, I stopped dead in my tracks. I would remember that black iron and gold finial anywhere! Alas, enter the Frances sofa dupe! And when you see the price, you might need to pick your jaw up off the floor. I do feel it would be remiss to not mention that I am sure there are differences in quality. And as you can see the cushions on the dupe don’t seem as fluffy, but sometimes the pocketbook does the talking and I think this time around, let it!
This sofa comes in at $450 and the chairs are also just $400 for the pair. This collection even includes a loveseat. I mean… floored! There is a coffee table and an ottoman that has not come out yet, but it is worth mentioning, I wouldn’t wait for them if you are wanting the sofa and the chair. These are going to go fast!! While I was on the site, I found so many other things that I would love for my home. This newest launch is one of their best ones yet in my opinion. And this comes from a non-obsessed Studio McGee fan. (ahh, I know. I said it 😬)
